MUSICIANS LEAD 15TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENT

Santa Claus hats and holiday songbooks filled Rupp Arena last night for the 15th annual Kentucky Christmas Chorus.
Everyone from babies to seniors -- perhaps, as the song goes, from ages 1 to 92 -- joined the Lexington Singers in rousing classic favorites such as Away in a Manger and O Come, All Ye Faithful. The Lexington Philharmonic provided the music, and choirs from across the state added their voices.
The Lexington Singers opened the 15th annual Kentucky Christmas Chorus last night at Rupp Arena. The group was joined by choirs from across the state in singing classic songs of the season.
Soloist Keith Dean performed as George Zack conducted the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra. Another soloist, Marina Jurica, was also on the program.
